About My Ceramic Wares
Magics
Rares
Uniques
Magics are the most accessible wares I produce. They are fired in a programmable electric kiln that I can (once calibrated) turn on and come back when it’s finished. This enables me to produces a consistent, time/fuel efficient process for a quality product.
Rares are high-fired in a gas kiln that is babysat for 12 hours in order to create and maintain the desired atmosphere. They yield a wide variety and beautiful depth of colors and textures as the process extracts elements from the materials producing different effects.
Uniques are one of a kind pieces. These pots are high-fired in a wood-fire kiln tended by a community of potters for anywhere from 24-110 Hours. The pots are glazed by the wood ash as it blasts through the kiln. Each piece influences how the flow of ash is deposited throughout the kiln, thus creating a unique relationship between the pots of each firing.

about My Making Process
The Artists Work
Play is the work of children, and I believe artists as well. I want to embody an adventurous spirit as I make pots that feel belonging and provide a meaningful space for everyday needs.
The Making Process
My process of making a pot starts by scooping out and weighing a lump of clay. Through contact with my hands, water, various tools, oxides, flame and time; I form my work into unique functional space for you.
The Magical Material
Clay is one of our worlds most useful and abundant materials. As Clay journeys into intense flame and heat, an alchemical process occurs producing what we call Ceramic material. People have made everything from cities to soup bowls with this primordial material. It’s empowerment potential only limited by ones imagination.
